‘Inspired tour enhanced by outstanding tour leader. The itinerary enabled us to experience so much of the island and the skill and knowledge of the tour leader ensured we encountered the widest range of experiences and type of walking, as well as improved our walking skills as the week went on.’
‘Corsica is beautiful with great walking trails/paths. And the food is outstanding. A most wonderful place for a walking vacation.’
Norway
‘A wonderful trip with a variety of activities for all ages and abilities. Well planned and clear instructions, always leaving time for serendipitous opportunities. Fi's years of experience and knowledge of history are priceless.’
‘One of the best trips I ever took. Norway was beautiful. Just like I had thought it would be and exceeded my expectations. The group leader was gracious and a wonderful hostess. The vistas, hiking and itinerary were excellent. Wonderful food and wine.’
Kyrgyzstan
‘A unique and wonderful holiday’
We travelled through the beautiful landscape of Kyrgyzstan, soaking up its unique atmosphere. A brilliant mixture of walking, eating delicious food and staying in very comfortable and interesting places with a lovely tour guide, drivers with nerves of steel and like minded company.’
‘Fascinating and impressive country and we were introduced to so many of its features: culture, politics, geography, food, people, plants, birds and mammals. A real eye opener to a part of the world I am not familiar with, accompanied not only by our innovative, intrepid and inspiring Kudu leaders, but also by a local guide, botanist, ornithologist, biologist and two skilled an endearing drivers. It was simply outstanding.’
Costa Rica
‘A wonderful 15 days exploring the diverse environments of Costa Rica. High mountain paramo, volcano areas, wetlands, rainforests and coastal nature reserves. Each hotel/estancia/lodge secluded and set in its own grounds, luxury accommodation in beautiful settings.’
‘This was a very well planned trip to take in the best of the Costa Rican diverse habitat and wildlife. The country was teeming with birds, animals and insects, which our tour guides not only spotted but could always identify.’
‘Excellent communication both prior and throughout the trip. David and Tereza are an excellent team, and worked tirelessly to ensure that their guests had an A+ experience. Our guide Filipe was excellent, we learnt so much from him and saw so much more than we would have done on our own! A fabulous experience.’
Switzerland - Gstaad
‘A superb programme of classical music concerts and walks in an idyllic setting staying at an excellent hotel.
The holiday starts and ends with a scenic train journey beside Lake Geneva with panoramic windows up to/from the Bernese Alps. Each day, after a generous buffet breakfast on a sunny terrace, we took ski lifts/ buses or trains to walk for 2-3 hours high in the hills admiring the wildflowers and dramatic Swiss scenery. On four evenings we were transferred to a local church to enjoy a classical music concert before returning the our superb hotel to enjoy their outstanding selection of cheeses and desert.’
‘One of the many perks of this trip was being settled in a five star hotel for the duration of the trip, not living out of a suitcase, and yet still being able to hike among the many slopes where every turn in the trail revealed to us a new and majestic vista.’
Finland
‘We enjoyed an eight-day tour of Finland, which took in 4 concerts of the Kuhmo Festival and two performances at Savonlinna Opera, and a wide range of cultural and other events and experiences. Our small group covered a lot of ground, driven by our hosts to places of geographic, geological, cultural, and other interests-a great introduction to Finland, which we have never previously visited. We enjoyed the hospitality of six hotels, all of very good standard and some exceptionally so. We dropped in to a wide variety of places of interest, learning about peacetime and wartime events that had shaped Finland over the centuries. The tour also took us to places of natural interest which included pleasant, but not unduly challenging walks within this varied landscapes. This was a thoughtfully prepared, well managed and utterly enjoyable taste of Finland.’
‘I liked the balance between the chamber music and the opera elements of the trip, the contrast between the small, precise concerts in local church and arts centre, and the grand spectacle of the Savonlinna productions worked very well.’
Menorca
‘One of the best holidays ever - lovely hotel, wonderful food, good weather, great company.’
‘An idyllic island sojourn, dream-like in its loveliness. Spiritually restoring.’
‘As usual with Kudu Travel everything has been thought out and arranged. Nothing is too much trouble. One can completely relax and enjoy the holiday.’
Bulgaria
‘A wide-ranging introduction to the country with a great variety of landscapes and terrain, encompassing cities, sites, sea and mountains, all bound together with superb attention to detail, comfortable accommodation and excellent food, wine and company.’
‘Once again Kudu have meticulously researched a less well-known country and the trip showcased its history, geography, culture, religion, people and food. In under 2 weeks we travelled widely (yet the mileage didn't feel arduous) - from beach to mountain, village to city. Kudu have a gift of creating a beautiful jig saw picture and making sure the trip includes all the pieces, and in a way which can speak to individuals in the group and well as the group as a whole I thought it was an outstanding trip.’
Patagonia
‘This was a wonderful trip. The itinerary was well planned: I had many exciting new experiences, saw beautiful scenery and learned a lot. The holiday was enhanced by our excellent guide, Neill Van den Berg. A first class experience!’
‘This was a wonderful holiday . Neill was a brilliant guide and really contributed a great deal to the enjoyment of our trip. Also we were lucky with the weather and the group worked really well together. Also the food and wine were wonderful.’
Morocco
‘All the wonderful variety and great experiences that i have come to expect from a Kudu holiday - interesting and unusual places to explore, excellent accommodation and food and good company.’
‘We had a lovely time. The trip was well organised, Sarah Wright was an excellent guide and tour manager, We had never been on a Kudu holiday before and were impressed by the care taken in selecting the walks, places to visit, hotels and restaurants, and creating the right balance between different types of activities, while still leaving us time for a little relaxation (and a swim on three days at the Trois Chameaux and two days at Dar Zitoune) in the late afternoon before dinner.’
